THE FINAL EVER ROB KNOX LONDON FILM FESTIVAL
The Rob Knox Foundation in association with Picturehouse Central In London is hosting its final ever Rob Knox London Film Festival on Saturday 6th September at 4pm to support knife crime awareness and platform brand new talent in the film industry.
The event includes the screening of all eleven officially selected short films followed by the awards ceremony, with presentations from celebrities and industry professionals such as John Altman (EastEnders), Nicholas Vince (Hellraiser, Nightbreed) and stage actress Ellie Rae Winstone. Depending on work commitments, Ray Winstone (Sexy Beast, Nil by Mouth), who is also patron of the Rob Knox Foundation, is expected be in attendance.
The whole proceedings are hosted by Festival director filmmaker and Rob’s close friend, Aaron Truss (The Rob Knox Story, Pareidolia). There will also be a special update surrounding the recently announced feature production of the comedy/horror Employee of the Dead.
“It has been the honour of my life to produce the Rob Knox London Film Festival”, says Aaron Truss, “We’ve seen some incredible work from filmmakers since 2009. Some of those filmmakers have now gone on to work in the industry as directors, producers and actors. It truly warms my heart to know that behind all of this is the legacy of one young 18-year-old who never gave up and always supported others around him. 16 years after his murder, Rob is still with us and helping young and brand-new talent.”

All ticket money from this screening will go to the Rob Knox Foundation.
Tickets are £13 (£11 concessions; £10 for Picturehouse members).
